Data Engineer

Intro to the role:

Fulcrum is partnering with a tech start-up whose mission is to improve and maintain mental fitness by providing training and skills development. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with experience in recommendation engines. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our data warehouse and recommendation engine built on the Google Cloud Platform.

Your Role:

• Build, maintain, and optimize the data warehouse and recommendation engine
• Develop and implement data pipelines and ETL processes
• Design and develop data models and schemas
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions
• Investigate and troubleshoot data quality issues

About You:

• Extensive experience in software development and building recommendation engines and/or personalized experiences
• Strong understanding of data science engineering fundamentals
• Experience in complex technical environments with large amounts of data
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is beneficial

Salary:

• $135,000 – $160,000
