We’ve partnered with a leading integrated media agency that is known for its consultative approach and excellent company culture. We are seeking a Strategist (media focused) offering a truly unique opportunity for a Junior Strategist or Media Planner to step up and work across many layers of strategy as part of a passionate and experienced team.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of devising the omnichannel engagement strategy and go-to-market plans for our clients. Through analysis of relevant insights, audience data, and a wide variety of tools, you will draw on these insights to develop strategies and campaign ideas to ensure client objectives are met.

You Will:
Act as day-to-day engagement planning for high-profile accounts, helping to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues alike
Demonstrate an understanding of audience behaviours and media relevant to client needs
Conduct research into categories, culture and audience behaviour to help contribute to insight development and create well-reasoned arguments to support the media strategy
Determine communication tasks for each campaign and write briefs that guide messaging and execution tailored for each channel
Analyse campaign metrics and use insights from data to improve communication effectiveness
Lead the development of strategic thinking on new business pitches
You Have:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in media, ideally media, integrated or full service agency experience.
A deep understanding of marketing, communications and media fundamentals.
Strong abilities in sourcing and translating data, theory and insight into client recommendations.
Natural interest and understanding of people, behaviours, decision making etc.
Experience in using a range of media/communications tools (e.g. Roy Morgan)
Knowledge of the media landscape, and application of this into recommendations that can realistically be delivered
The ability to create and strongly deliver a well structured, persuasive and interesting presentation
